Our Story
Porch & Petal grew out of a love for beautiful spaces and a family dream. After years in the corporate world, Lyla — wife of the owner of Capital Landscapes and mom to two adventurous little boys — decided to pursue her passion for porch decorating, turning a creative hobby into a joyful, family-centered venture.
With pumpkins, flowers, and a spark of imagination, Porch & Petal was born. What started as a simple idea — making porches look magical for fall — quickly blossomed into a year-round service bringing seasonal charm to homes across Metro Detroit.
